Obama vs. Clinton Is this going to be a close or a wide open race for Obama?

Well you know what time of year it is. The elections, many people have been anticipating these elections for awhile now. If you don't mind me asking, who will you be supporting? I think I've come up with a pretty good question for you to ask yourself if you are still not sure who to vote for in the primary election. Just ask yourself, self am I ready for change or am I ready for the war in Iraq to be over? I myself wish there were a way for both of these events to happen. It seems like Clinton is doing very well in Pennsylvania, but Obama will probably find some way to make a comeback. These two have always been real close runners in the election. What are you ready for? Do you think we should have someone new to come in and try to run things or have someone with experience in office try to run things? Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

Oh, and one more thing. Say Hillary is elected President, do you think it is ethical for her try to make college tuition lower?

I swung around for a while. My political beliefs tend to go from libertarianism to populism. So I was Edwards for a while. (Huckabee may be a populist, but he's out for other reasons). Then I was looking at Gravel and Kucinich. In his last debate for he dropped out Richardson, who finally got to talk, revealed himself as actually being a very good candidate. I've sort of settled on him and Paul as the two people I would have really liked. In the primaries (closed and I'm registered blue after it was down to Obama Clinton) I voted Obama. I like the fact that he's willing to talk to people.

lol. As a college student, I can't answer that last question objectively!

I would have to say, for this coming election, I am in full support of Hillary Clinton. Right now, we need a president that will take action, and that is her entire foundation. Not that I feel Obama to be incompetent of action, it is merely I have nothing to base his words off of. Experience for Barack would be nice, especially in an election like this one where we need well rehearsed officials that have the first hand experience and have been a bit more weathered. As for Pennsylvania, I think Hillary has it in the bag; Rendell was speaking on C-SPAN Monday afternoon, and he says it will be a landslide win for Clinton. I don't know about landslide, but I am sure she has it.

And for your final question, I find it difficult to answer, as your ethics and mine are most likely polar. I would more say, logically, it is a good move. With the economy moving at the rate right now, and seeing a majority of Americans in the middle-class range, costs are outrageous. You have to notice that the middle class is where Hillary will attempt to pull votes from, she has a strong position on education, but you also have to note, that these things need to be passed by congress, and for all we know, a proposition for lower tuition costs may get shot down.

When I voted in my caucus it was for Obama. Originally I had really like Joe Biden; he seemed like a good option, a way to bridge the gap between the republicans and democrats, because of his experience. (I still think he'd make an excellent VP.)

It was right up until the caucus day that I still hadn't decided between Obama and Edwards. I was originally for John Edwards at the caucus, but he didn't have enough people to be qualified. The one thing that pushed me towards Obama even more so was the fact that the Hillary staffers at the caucus came over to the like 10 Edwards people and promised them a delegate if they came over there. I as the youngest person there told all of my fellow Edwarders that they have no power and can't promise something like that. I mean if she has people that represent her, lying to people that way she can get votes. I convinced all of them to go to Obama. It was pretty cool.

I really don't care who wins. I mean I would prefer Obama because I think that the Democratic Party would have a lot easier chance to get the middle with him than with Hillary. He's amazingly charismatic, and really potrays change.

As for Hillary trying to make college tuitions cheaper, yes I do believe that's ethical. The rising rate of interest will make it even harder for students to get loans for school. So if it's cheaper that would be helpful.

People can give delegates to other candidates... Apparently that happened in West Virginia, when the McCain and Paul people voted for Hucakbee in exchange for a delegate...

I thought of that, but it was pretty obvious that they weren't sincere.
