Although it is only a concept a California State University Long Beach senior Jason Farsai designed this coffee mug. In a world that is becoming ever more concerned with convenience I find that this is too far. We have our laptops, our PC's, our Internet Cell Phones, our mp3 players that use the internet. Everything we own now needs to be able to access the internet. We have become an obsessed society with an inability to go ten minutes with out checking our myspace, email, even blogs. I don't pretend to be one of those individuals but I do appreciate the ability to go away for a weekend and not be concerned with them. It gives you a feeling of freedom that seems to be harder and harder to find these days. I don't believe people need to have another gadget that access the internet from they're coffee mug when they most likely have a cell phone, and laptop, a computer, and probably a mixture of other gadgets that already have this ability. But it does look cool. I don't think that it has much of a market except for those people who just want to have every fancy new gadget there is out there.

Technology is the way of the future, it just sucks that we need to upgrade everything every 6 months so that we can be considered "cool." I am perfectly content to own a cell phone free of an mp3 player, camera, movie access, or whatever else they are installing in these things these days.
I own a cell phone, which needs to be charged. I own a camera, which needs to be charged. I own an iPod, which needs to be charged. I own a computer, which needs to be charged. It's a lot more energy efficient to have one gadget that does everything. Do I want that gadget to be my coffe mug, as well? No! Coffee mugs don't need to be charged. Now coffee makers, on the other hand... ;)

I dunno. I'd probably end up pouring fresh espresso down my shirt while figuring out how to text someone with the milk frother.
