Food (Part I)

Everyday, there are lots of people who skip breakfast. Everyday, people get hungry and wonder why. Everyday, there are people who would go willingly to a fast food restaurant everyday because they are hungry and they can't help it for much longer. Everyday, people eat food without even knowing what is half of the stuff is in the food. Then, everyday, people wonder why they are in such health conditions. Everyday, they wonder why they have high blood pressure. Everyday, there are people asking doctors why they are so sick in the stomach or in the intestines. The way I see things, you're acting worse than a blind person. I mean seriously, you eat food that has no benefit but to your body and you're probably going to wonder why Diabetes suddenly showed up. Well, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, even Heart Disease are all illnesses that have recently appeared. They didn't exist in the past and are only caused by people who eat excessively. One thing is eating maybe once in a blue moon. Even once or twice during a two week period. Unfortunately, like I said before, there are people who are willing to eat everyday in a fast food restaurant because they let hunger overcome them.

Doctors say that Diabetes, High blood pressure etc. are more prompt to happen if a family member in the past has had that. If that is true, then why hasn't this occured continuosly during the past. Heart disease is not genetically passed down to family members. The closest in which a parent could give a child a higher chance of getting Heart disease is only if:

1. The child is born with a heart defficency or related to it.

2. The mother who beared the child in her woumb was eating horribly and not watching her and her child's health.

Besides that, I don't see no relationship in how Heart disease etc. could be passed down genetically. Fast foods is one main cause of all of these "genetic" diseases and could be stopped easily. All you have to do is just grow a habit of not going to fast food restaurants as often as you would normally go. I used to go to a fast food restaurant every saturday when I was young. Now, i should consider myself lucky if I even go once every three weeks. If you really need to go and eat something, then try to go to fast food restaurants that atleast "try" to serve healthy foods like Subway. Subway seems like they serve healthy food but it's all the same process as regular fast food. The only difference between subway amd burger king for example is that subway would serve foods that aren't really filled with as much fat as burger king would. Don't let hunger control you. Humans could live up to three dayw without food. You could survive a few minutes or even a few more hours until you get home or reach a somewhat healthier restaurant. Don't give in, it will just make things worse.

"Worse than a blind person?" Blind people, like anyone else, can have the brains to know what's healthy for them!!

Still, you bring up a few good points. However, I believe there is still sometimes a genetic link that can make people more prone to develop certain conditions. However, those conditions can be actually triggered by the things we do with our bodies.

The blind person part wa sarcasm. I don't think there is a gentic part in this because of the sudden appearances of these diseases and a few other factors.

=D
