I as a High School Junior am very tired of seeing our young ladies walking around at such a young and tender age Pregnany. They are still children themselves what could they possibly know about rasing one. Its no longer "I made a one time mistake and got pregnant its more of a fad." I can support that statement because I have a friend who just found out she was about 5 months pregnant and she thinks its funny because she knew she was having unprotected sex and still continued to do it knowing the possible consequences. However, our parents aren't helping the situation either. Her mother knew that she was unprotected secually active with her boyfriend and she allowed the two of them to spend a weekend together in her house. People tell me what does that say about our parenting system. Our kids can't do any better if we don't teach them better. It starts at home so you as a parent and as a child (male or female) take the necessary steps. I also know a young lady who was is a teenage parent andjust recently had a daughter. Her daughter is now 5months old and the young lady is 5 months prenant and shes is hoping to have a little boy. Granted is you are struggling to take care of the first child what would make you want to get pregnant again. I think it is getting ridiculously out of control the way out teenagers are carrying on and everything seems to be a joke and life isn't any part of a joke because when you bring these kids into the world they need t o be taken care of they didn't ask to come here you brought them here so please think before you act. If your going to be active then WRAP IT UP OF PLEASE DON'T UNWRAP IT

I wouldn't say that most teenage girls aren't scared but everything else is completely true! My mom had me at 17 and now she lives in a crappy old run down trailer working as a house keeper at an inn.
I agree. I'm a high school junior also. At my school tons of girls are pregnant and most of them are freshmen and sophomores!!! I mean they're wobbling around here like it is the latest trend.
I know what is like for teenage mothers. Both my sisters were teenage moms. My mom didn't shelter my sisters but she didn't let them run wild. My mom tried her best and even now they regret the decisions they made. My oldest sister is 29 and her oldest is 13 almost 14. My mom didn't let her just go out and party. She made her stay home and take care of her child. My sister is a great mom because of that. She is now married. My other sis is 23 and her oldest is 7 and her youngest is 3. She is treated the same. My mom and I keep her kids while she works and that is it. We don't keep her kids while she goes "lolly gagging".
I believe if the parents make the teenage mothers take more responsibility for the kids, the girls will stop having as many. I believe the parents should educate their girls of childbirth. It is a risk at death! The parents should educate their children about the risks of unprotected sex with all these diseases floating around.
