I was cleaning out my junk email the other day, when I came across about a billion SAT questions of the day. I never unsubscribed to it from high school, so I had about two years worth. I was at my friend's place with nothing much to do and I started asking him questions - SAT questions of the day, to be specific. And every time I got to a verbal question, I almost cried. We soon both realized that every single question was unbearably easy. We're both engineering students with plenty of higher-level math under our belts so we weren't going to judge the math problems (I don't think they were changed anyway...), but the verbal? Oh man. We took turns asking each other verbal questions without giving any of the choices. The result? We answered each one correctly.

not this easy back when I took it. It was never particularly hard, but if two engineers who haven't had any english classes in 2 or 3 years can answer the questions now without looking at the choices, and we couldn't answer some of them before even with choices, I think something's wrong. Anyone else wishing they were born just a couple years earlier so they could get a perfect SAT and a free ride in college?

Even though you haven't taken any english classes, you've still gain a lot of knowledge and probably figured it out, that most crap that they ask on test are really never too hard. Back in school, you were pressured to take wacko test, maybe without the pressure....your mind opens up a lot easier than others.
or you could be right and school test have gotten easier, iono.
Being that you are college students, it's highly possible that you've gradually learned all of this stuff, you just hadn't realized it, subconscious learning. It's like that when I look at my sister's math homework. When I'd taken that math then, it was incredibley hard and I was sure I wasn't learning a thing, now it's a piece of cake. I mean, yeah it's possible the test has gotten easier, but I can't say for sure, as I took it not too long ago. :)
