Negative but positive

Ok, I have been writing weepy entries about my neurological condition. Here is the update: the blood tests were negative. That includes the testing for a rare condition called Mitochondrial Syndrome. Don't ask me what that's about. I don't have it so I don't care! I don't need to cram more useless info into my head. Anyway, I won't see the neurologist again until March 10.
Physical Therapy went really well today. Brian, the PT, cheered me up with his goofy humor. I joined right in.
I realized that I could have that effect on other people. They may be going through something pretty bad themselves. I find if I joke about my condition, people accept it more. I have even written funny songs about it, like WWI (Walking While Intoxicated, about the time I got stopped for walking funny down a sidewalk. The cop thought I was drunk or stoned or both!) I can't really get out to do my musical comedy act anymore. But if I can make one person smile per day, be it through my music or being goofy, then I have done well.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go work on that trumpet piece I mentioned in my last blog.

Good for you, I'm glad you are healthy and the blood tests were negative. Your attitude is truly inspirational.

I am not healthy! But I am sure this doc will figure out what is wrong. He came pretty close with that other diagnosis. I am glad I seem inspirational. I better go to bed, or my words will not be inspirational first thing in the morning!

I think it's amazing how you can use a sense of humor to deal with this issue. Way to be an optomist! Best of luck to you.

I could use some luck right now. I have been sitting at the computer too long (Hi, my name is Holly, and I am a net junkie!!) and my muscles got stiff. Plus my butt is numb! Gotta go get ready for bed, but cannot get up cuz I have a terminal case of Numbutt! Help!!! Somebody get a crane!!!!
