Fifty-degrees FahrenheitIf the temperature had so plunged
mid-July
We would be wearing coats
but as it is now
the ides of March
in Rexburg
It draws us out
in short-sleeves
to bask in the sun.
It was those days that
were below zero,
which make today,
so pleasant.
Couples and singles
Stroll along the walks
People sit on the
grass,
despite its damp
from feet of snow
recently covered it.
The clock bells chime,
some unknown tune
While we pretend,
we have no homework.

Yes, sometimes I would get Spring Fever, especially if I'm tired of snow.
I love the way everyone takes the first opportunity to break out the next season's clothes. In spring, it's short sleeves; in summer, shorts; in fall-sweaters and jeans; and in winter, boots.
