As soon as you’re born, you start dying, so you might as well have a good time. Obviously, it is natural instinct to deny this quote. It is natural instinct for any species to be curious, and hope that what was given to us as people are given to us for good use and not chaos. That is also natural instinct, to believe there is beauty in creation, to believe that good conquers evil. So what has happened over the last 232 years, since Thomas Jefferson laid down a plan, to finally have a place where everyone would be created equal, no matter their beliefs? Believe me this: we were doomed from day one. What happened when we arrived in the US? We thought we were seeing into the future by slaughtering Native Americans so that we could make our own peace. Now tell me that makes sense. When Thomas Jefferson was 14, he inherited slaves. I can’t tell you whether or not they continued to work for free, or if they were fed and sheltered, but they were slaves nonetheless, and I can say this: Jefferson was 14 at the time; perhaps he had no idea what to do with them. Jefferson was a beautiful creature, a good creature, yes? It is also said that Jefferson knocked-up one of the slavewomen.
...and establish this Constitution for the United States of America

I don't like the fact teenagers today use this as a justification to getting drunk and doing drugs. People can tell me how marijuana isn't bad and drinking is fine but I don't care.

Actually, Thomas Hemmings supposedly had an ongoing affair with Sally Hemmings, I think he's rumored to have fathered 14 children by her, one of which was allegedly sold into prostitution. Also, to really get into Thomas Jefferson's vices and hypocracies, he authored Notes on the State of Virginia, wherein which he talked about how african americans were not of the same race as whites, but recently descended from orangatangs and vehemently opposed integration of any form between whites and blacks, particularly that of a sexual nature, even though he himself had such an affair.
idealistically poetic: to believe there is beauty in creation, to believe that good conquers evil :) interesting post.
