The Good Body by Eve Ensler

I've never read a book that made me cry. Ever. But I was sobbing over this one. Technically it's a play. I adored it. It's about body image and self-acceptance and self-loathing and the quest for perfection. It's a series of monologues based on a variety of vastly different women talking about their bodies, and their lives, and their experiences. I think every person, not just woman, who has ever hated their body should read this book. I'm what you call "a fat girl" I'm not HUGE, I'm in decent shape, but I'm still considered overweight. I don't eat everything in sight, I work out when my schedule allows, and I hate my body with a fiery passion. This book really touched a nerve, and I think it will resonate with a whole lot of people.

Eve Ensler is incredible. Everyone should thank her for creating more reasonable feminist. Yay for feminist! You should definitley love your body.

P.S. I'm a male feminist and proud of it.
