In the music, fashion, and movie industry, the women are beautiful. They have no flaws, and they are made out to be perfect. Their hair is always perfect, their teeth are pearly white, and they have no scars, blemishes, stretch marks or anything. But that's all fake. It took a long time for me to realize that I was a beautiful person on the inside and out. I have plenty of scars, my hair doesn't always stay in place, and sometimes I like to go without makeup. I used to compare myself to the models, actresses, and video vixens until one day I was watching the Tyra Banks show and she showed the real side of the media and showed me that it's all not what it's cracked up to be. Personally, I feel that I am beautiful and I want to let every young lady out there know that they are beautiful in their own special way and they should not compare theirselves to other girls because if God wanted you to look like them he would have made you to look like them, but he did not and he didn't for a reason. So embrace your beauty and be happy that you are who you are.
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder

I really like your view on this topic. I used to think of myself as "not pretty" as I am a bit on the chunky side and very low maintinece when it comes to my looks, but I've learned that personality counts for so much more than looks.
