If anyone has watched the news or even opened a paper lately you will most likely hear or see someone bashing myspace.com. I would just like to know everyones views on what they think about it. I personally have a myspace and I understand there are bad people out there preying on innocent or well not so innocent young children but this can happen everywhere. There are soo many other sites out there where people can way more information about themselves on their profiles, the only reason those sites arent being talked about is because myspace has sky rocketed with so many people. If all the little hootchies would be responsible and stop putting up pictures of themselves half naked then they most likely wouldnt be stalked or even talked to by predators. I personally use myspace to get intouch with people I havent seen or heard from in years. Just recently I found my cousin that I hadnt seen in eight years since his dad died. We now talk on a regular basis and we are even talking about finally getting to meet up and hang out again. There are so many good uses for myspace that a few little incidents are messing it up for everyone else because the parents of those kids arent watching out for them. So once again the question is what is everyones views on myspace?

I have a MySpace. Yeah, I'm pretty much addicted. I love it because I've been able to find people I used to go to school with that I probably never would have talked to again. And I've also met some pretty cool people, too. It's terrible that MySpace is possibly getting a bad reputation for incidents happening with young kids. These kids shouldn't be on MySpace in the first place. Their parents should monitor what their children do online and teach them about the dangers invovled with online predators.

Myspace is awesome. Contacts with friends and family are my favorite. As for the bad people out there. It happens and there is hardly anything stopping those people from doing what they do. If the younger people on Myspace would be extra carefull and talk to people they know it wouldn't be a problem. Parents should play a huge role in talking to their kids about the dangers of the Internet in general. Keep it safe is all I can say. DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS. IT SOUNDS SILLY BUT IGNORING THIS SIMPLE ADVICE FROM PARENTS IS WHAT LEADS TO DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES ONLINE.

I deleted my myspace page because it was boring me. It's nothing interesting really. Unless you're really simple, nothing stimulating. =\
It is only as boring as you make it. I talk to friends on there that I havent seen in years and family I cant talk to on the phone becuz its long distance.
Add only people you know to your friends list. Don't talk to strangers. Don't post revealing pictures of yourself.
You can be safe about myspace doing all of those. I like that website, I like to use it to keep in touch with some people that it's just hard to keep in touch with otherwise.
