The
United States is so hypocritical when it comes to the possession of nuclear weaponry. We adamantly oppose countries like North Korea and
Iran becoming nuclear powers under premises like, “their leader is not levelheaded enough to have the bomb” or “they might actually use it”. Very weird condemnations to be doled about by the only country on the face of the earth who was inhuman enough to ever use a nuclear weapon on the beattlefield.
The United States Hypocritical About Nuclear Weapons? Never!

Wow I don't know where to begin. First most countries are too crazy to be allowed this power. N.K. hates us big time and as soon as they get enough to destroy our country I'm sure we will be facing a problem becasue they will use it. We are the only country inhumane enough? give me a break. If Japan had that in WWII they would have definately used it against us. Look at pakistan, palestine, israel pretty much any middle eastern country. Those dudes are all inhumane and if they had nuclear weapons I'm sure that the middle east would no longer exist. Trust me we are a very hated country in the world and if one of those countries had nuclear bombs we would have a nuclear war. Any questions or comments? post em and I'll refute em.
It seems your only argument is for self-preservation.
No one should have the bomb. But we do. And we’ve used it. Yet we deem it appropriate to take the high ground and police the rest of the world. It’s comparable to father telling you not to smoke with a cigarette in his mouth.
As to our self-preservation, if the whole world wants us out so bad, who's to say we have the right to exist.
Might is right. The cig reference well father is looking out for our best. We are doing the same for the world think about it if everyone had nukes the world would be done. The right to exist/survive/ is through the ability to adapt, change, stay in power. The mightiest nation must police the world, it has been that way since the dawn of civilization. Agreed no one should have the bomb but we had the best and the brightest and came up with it. The Japs deserved the bomb and even afterward they wanted to keep going but their emperor said no no you are too good. " I fear we have awoken the sleeping giant."
That is like saying the strongest kid on the playground should have rule over the other kids by virtue of his ability to beat them up. There is nothing civilized about that kind of world view. The world's disdain and desire to destroy us comes from our policing in the the first place. It is an endless cycle.
I think that we should get rid of these weapons. Who are we to choose? Maybe the United Nations should have them. It's like a dad telling his son to not smoke, and then he smokes. Sure we created them, sure the other countries might be crazy, but we just can't control anything. I mean we say we can make good decisions, but with presidents like *cough* the current one that just went to war without reason, how can we espect other nations not to fear us?
Well civilized or not it is truely the only logical thing. Break everything down you will see. Next we have to police the world to prevent world destruction... every great power has. Point is basically if other countries got a hold of the nukes now and had the capabilities to launch them to us we would be screwed which is why nobody else needs them.
