In the last year we have herd a lot out the nations current war, the election coming up, Global warming, the increase of STI's and many other negative things. Many people, including myself hear their parents talking about how things where so much easier and better when they where our age. Yes we can say we don’t have to deal with certain things such as segregation and such, but we do have a big load on our shoulders. We don’t know what kind of future we have ahead of us, because of all the negatives we have in front of us.
The nice thing is that many people not just adults, but also young people are trying to make a difference. I work at a grocery store, and it is amazing how many people bring their own bags to put there food in, and how many people want to make donations to local shelters and such. Companies also seem to be a lot more into making donations to foundations for diseases such as Cancer, Aids, Muscular dystrophy and other serious diseases. Also schools put a lot more into can food drives, toy drives, and volunteering than they used to. I honestly think that we haven’t been set a permanent future, but that we need to work on the brighter future for ourselves.
