Love at first sight? myth or reality????

Love at first sight myth or real? There are many examples in entertainment depicting love at first sight like in Simpsons when Homer falls in love with Marge at his first sighting of her. Also when Renton Thurston from Eureka Seven falls in love with Eureka on first sight. Love at first sight is an emotional condition when a person feels romantic attraction for a stranger on the first encounter with the stranger. The term may be used to refer to a mere sexual attraction or crush, but it usually refers to actually falling in love with someone literally the very first time one sees him or her, along with the deep desire to have an intimate relationship with that person. The stranger may or may not be aware that the other person has any such idea, and may not even be aware of the other person's presence (such as in a crowded place). Sometimes two people experience this phenomenon towards each other at the same time, usually when their eyes meet. Do any of you believe that love at first sight is something real that occurs or is it just a fantasy that occurs in movies, animes, or television shows.

i think "love" at first sight is a myth, but spontaneous mutual attraction is not.

Actual love at first sight is absolutely a myth, but I think there has to be an initial attraction for most relationships to work out at all.

I think its more complicated than a yes or no answer. It is impossible to love someone at first sight if you are thinking about compatibility and personality.

However, lust at first sight happens every day. Sexual attraction is extremely visual, first and foremost. That being said, relationships have been known to have difficulties when physical attraction dissipates. and without that initial attraction, there is no opportunity for love to grow.
