Im so glad im not blinded by corporate America
Better yet im so glad im not blinded by the world
Not blinded by every person and replica of a television glamor girl
I now know that I was put here for a real reason
To uncover my brother and sisters eyes to truly see, love and understand the 4 seasons
Winter, summer, spring, and fall
Have you truly watched the seasons change
Or were you to busy watching a passing plane
Im so glad that im not blinded by color nor race
Because we all can hear, see, feel, smell, or taste
The President is no different from me, O, except maybe for a Bentley
But im so glad im not blinded by the green paper
Because material doesn't make me
When was the last time you stopped and thought WHY
Why am I here why do I feed the monster why do I help destroy
WHY
When have you done something that didn't involve the green paper
Im so glad im not blinded by whose bank account is greater
Im fortunate to see that God is real
Only thing you have to do is feel
Feel the strength within a tree or the softness of the grass
Let the wind massage you as the wind whispers pass
Im so glad im not blinded by our daily schedules
Wake up do work pay money til we're about 60 years old
People may argue that the best sound is the newest song
But they're wrong
The sound of birds chirpping as the sun rises
Or you're first child's birth as your heart rate rises
Im so glad that I really acknowledge God's gifts
The grass to the trees to our mountains even our beutiful waterfalls
But im so glad im not blinded
WE ARE ALL BLINDED
