Ok, I'll admit....the gay marriage debate has been beaten to death, more than Anna Nicole's paternity test.
BUT...today, in the Science Times section of the New York Times (I don't have copies, look it up if you don't believe me...don't want to type up all the articles, don't have an NYT membership), there were several articles that suggested that gayness is INHERENT, not learned.
EDIT- Found a link http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/10/health/10gene.html?_r=1&ref=science&oref=slogin
That there are genes that determine one's sexual orientation. That it is inherent from birth and not a choice.
Does that change the mind of the religious right...? If an in made in the image of God, and God made some people gay, does that give them a right to be full fledged citizens, like all of your straight brethern?
Or is this crap? Is there a way all the findings could be false? Even if they were true, would that make gayness ok in your mind? More acceptable at least?
Would you allow them to be married?

hey, i knew that!
:D

Inherent? I would have never thought of it that way...
What about those of us who AREN'T part of the "religious" right and don't believe sexuality (of any kind) is simply a matter of choice, including those WITHIN the LGBTQ community?
