What the September eleventh?
Gosh I just read a post talking about the fact that No One Noticed that it was September 11th and I actually had the gall to check the computer date…As if that person lied about it. I feel bad but then again thankful that the media was not shoving this into my face forcing me to relive what happened on that day.

The question use to be where were you when JFK was shot? I am pretty sure that one day soon it will be where were you the day the towers fell?

I have no idea when JFK was shot so I am pretty sure I was either young or not alive yet.

I was in Wichita Falls TX, actually Sheppard AFB, Thinking I was watching a movie preview that invovlevedairplanes running into buildings. I even asked the counter girl what that was ...she had not Idea. So I finished getting ready to march a group of ‘Newbies’ to some briefings and formed them up.  A few minutes later, as we were heading off, five military training instructors came running at our formation yelling GET INSIDE!!!. The dread full bugle call was sounding and the kids, whom all still had the fear of basic military training in their blood,  broke formation and bee-lined to the front of our dorm building. In an instant training took over and we, pretty new ourselves, verified the ID and searched the belonging of about three hundred forty seven freaked out people…as if they would have anything inappropriate. We spent the rest of the day locked down with NY residents stressed out and in tears.

I was in sixth grade working on some kind of group project. I remember our principal came over the loudspeaker saying there had been an accident in the city, and to say a pray for the people involved. Then someone came into our room, took our teacher aside. Next thing I know we were all filed into the gym to watch the news. We didn't get it. Some of the teachers were crying, but we were too young to really understand.

I was in Japan Yokota AB. I was tring to find something to watch on TV and all there was was a news show about a plane that hit the WTC I called my Dad and told him about it and then I went to sleep because it was almost 2:00 am. I awoke to what I thought to be a normal day went to work got stop 4 times and got searched about 2 times. When I got to work I was informed about how bad the attackes were mind you when I went to sleep it was only a plane that hit the tower. It was not a good day.
I was in my 6th grade history class on Martha's Vineyard. We had tv's in the classrooms so we watched the news, devastated. Then someone decided the island could be a potential target, and all the students flipped out. I'm not sure if they let us go home, but I left.
This was the first 9/11 I was in school, usually I go to a memorial or something. How odd that it went kind of unnoticed this year.
You know i was just thinking that maybe the government has more to do in censorship than we thing. I am sure this will be a blog oneday soon. But if we do not kow we can not know it is being censored. I remember that someone decided to make the media stop playing footage because of the emotional effect it was happening....maybe spet 11 going unoticed this year still has something to do with that and the administration looking stupid...Who Knows
