I had often myself wondered if the War in Iraq would ever really become a huge political game during the election and clearly before this point it had. After watching this video I felt incredibly motivated and encouraged-maybe a strange reaction. To me it seems that this could help people wake up, not just one news clip from a slightly more left news anchor but a thought provoking tickle of an idea that could potentially swing voters from one wing to the next.

The war in Iraq is obviously huge in this upcoming election and we haven't even hit primaries yet, but the idea that another man knowing what we all know now about the war. Not just the editorials or the columns but the cold hard facts, it would take an equal of George Bush himself to stand by him and support the current plan, or lack there of for an exit and continue the volume of the insurgency. That man I would hope does not exist, or if they do don't stand a chance against the dream team of democrats assembled for this elections nomination.

I do not believe that Bush or his administration remained well intentioned throughout this war, I wont comment on how I believe it started mostly because it's just an opinion. The construction alone has made Cheney and the Halliburton stock holders billions of dollars, the oil that we've taken from the Iraqi people and the thousands upon thousands of Iraqi civilians that have been killed should have been wake up call enough. But that seems to slip through the minds of our fearless leader. At this point as Olbermann points out Bush seems to have walked himself in a circle he wont be able to mumble himself out of.

The hard right thinkers will continue to think what they think, the troops will continue to die, the money will leave our education, and our healthcare systems and aid our troops with what they desperately need to survive and be successful-that being a relative term.

what will the next 500 days bring about? We shall see.

What do you all think?

People can own stock in Cheney? Wow...

If you're talking about Halliburton, they actually posted losses on their Iraqi contracts...not saying they didn't expect to profit, but you know...

WHile, I don't like the PResident and I have never doubted political motivation for the War on Terror, I must caal you out on credibility. Olbermann is clearly very biased against Bush. And, while I hate to say it, those words can be twisted to mean a variety of different things. You could interpret them as meaning that he would like to stabalize the situation in Iraq so the next President won't pull out immediately and recklessly. Like I said, I don't like Bush and I don't think that's what he means, but I wouldn't get the news from this guy, exclusively.
