The Presidential Race, or a High School Election?

Barack Obama: CHANGE We Can Believe In
Hillary: Help Make History
John McCain: Ready to Lead On Day One
Mike Huckabee: Faith. Family. Freedom

These are the slogans put forward by the top 4 in the Presidential race. They are very good slogans, unfortunately, these slogans seem to be all we are hearing of these candidates in the general media. Sure sure, they will occasionally throw in a tid-bit about health care, or the war in Iraq, but when it comes down to all the general un-researching public knows about the fab four is that:

Barack Obama is a black man who will change America. Who cares how he is going to change it, the fact that he SAYS he has a plan for change is what matters. (Hasn't anyone heard the saying about changing for the sake of change...)

Hillary Clinton DOESN'T HAVE A PENIS...and has a bill for health care reform...the biggest question of her campaign, seems to be "What will they call Bill? The First Man?" (for the record as an ex-president he will be called Mr. President...)

John McCain, has been doing the politics thing for awhile, he even gets endorsed by the former Republican presidents, and he served in the military!

Mike Huckabee previously a preacher and has CHUCK FRICKIN NORRIS as a supporter.

These are good things to know about the candidates, the problem is that a good amount of Americans aren't as informed as we like to pretend they are, and they will be basing their entire vote on these fractured pieces of information that has been spun to them by the media.

The idea of the Electoral college sucks, but I believe that it still serves a purpose...

Ha! This blog is so true! It is scary to think how many Americans will be voting only knowing this much information about the candidates.
