Liquid coal is something that not many of you have heard about more than likely but it is becoming an increasing concern. Yes, simply burning coal for energy is not enough anymore they are trying to expand our finite supply of coal to do even more for us so that it may run out quicker. They are attempting to create liquid coal plants at just $10 billion a factory.
Liquid coal is soon to be an option for powering cars and many other things possibly. It will cause twice as much global warming with the way that it is created and then burned creating double the emissions. Liquid coal will use 3 times as much money however, that does not matter as long as liquid coal becomes a new product.
As you can probably guess, I am a conservationist so hearing about liquid coal at my work is such a laughable matter I never believed that any organization would pop up to try something so ridiculous but the Coal-to-Liquid Coalition proved me wrong still yet again. Yes, it is a real organization that is attempting to create and market mass amounts of liquid coal besides polluting the water and the air though liquid coal scars the land permanently with the mining that is needed to reach the coal that we use as energy.
I am not posting this simply for awareness and opinions however you may give those at any time you like however I am asking something of all readers of this. Spread the word about liquid coal and its harms I barely knew about this until very recently so I am sure not very many people do however, it is quickly becoming a possibility to be the newest fuel product. Write to you congressman and explain that you as a voter or citizen are not okay with the concept of liquid coal. Don’t forget to spread the message as well Liquid Coal is not cool.

I think that it is rediculous that people are wasting time on an energy source like this when there are much more efficient sources like ethanol that should be more fully researched!
