Why did earlier generations include garlic in their diets? It has benefits to a healthy body. Garlic is rech in amino acids, calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and selenium. It has been proven to increase strength and endurance. Garlic also relieves coughs, fevers, skin problems and earaches. Scientists today continue to do antiviral and cancer tests with garlic. I generally use garlic as a seasoning, but there's much more to garlic than just taste.
