Well yesturday i had my wisdom teeth pulled and i dont believe i have had this much pain in a very long time. i had all four pulled with surgery on the bottom two and extensive work had to be done on one of the top ones also. The fourth came out fairly easily, according to the doctor. This also means that 3 of them have stiches in them. Im sure many of you have experienced wisdom tooth pain so i am looking for any suggestions as to how i can make it heal faster or make the swelling go down more. Im running out of ideas, and the pain isnt running out yet! thanks for the help!

I feel your pain. I also had all 4 of mine pulled, I couldn't eat for a week! It sucked so much, well hope you get better soon. The only advice I'll have for you is it takes time for the pain and swelling too go down just do what the dentist told you to do and you should be fine.
P.S-Try putting a warm piece of gauze in your mouth, it sorta helped me
I recommend you don't drink beer and smoke pot immediately after the operation like I did some 30+ years ago. When combined with the residual effects of the sodium penathol that they knocked me out with and the percodans they gave me for pain it made for a fairly entertaining combination.
But I ended up with four dry sockets and a lot more pain then was necessary so I paid the price.
I was pretty wild in those days.
