The Best "Deal" in Town

One of my favorite television shows would have to be Deal or No Deal.  This television game show is a show where a contestant has the chance at winning a million dollars.  The contestant picks a case for themself and then picks cases that have different amounts of money in them, hoping they have the million dollars or they can keep the million dollars in play.  One thing I love about the show is the suspense and how it keeps you on the edge of your seat.  Often times I find myself yelling at the television as to what I think the contestant should do.  I never thought I would get so wrapped up in a television game show.  I think it would be a life-time experience to get to be on Deal or No Deal.  Having that much money at your fingertips would be an awesome, and also scary feeling.  And that suspense the whole time as to whether or not you will win a million dollars, I'm sure is an amazing feeling.  Just imagine being on a big, lighted stage with cameras on you at all times and a large crowd around you as well as some of your closest friends.  Having the option at winning a million dollars or one penny, and not knowing if that money is in your case, or some case you may eventually eliminate.  This feeling would be overwhelming.  I would be so scared, yet also excited that I would have the chance at winning a million dollars.  If you have never watched Deal or No Deal, watch it one night while resting at home.  I am sure the game will keep your attention, and emotions the whole time.

That's what "Deal or No Deal" is. I finally watched it for the first time about a month ago, and I was amazed by the mindlessness of the program. The entire thing is luck. It is a waste of an hour, all that this program comes down to is picking numbers and looking at pretty girls in dresses. Even "Sweet Sixteen" has more content than that! If this is our society, I am embarrassed to be a part of it.
