The definition of utopia in my own words is a perfect place. Now, I am taking a small break from my series on Africa although this blog could definatly fit in with the topic! There is no such thing as a utopia but don't you wish there was? Well, I mean there is no utopia on earth. In my opinion, the ultimate utopia exsists only in one place. That place is Heaven. Anyways, there is no utopia on earth. Does that not suck. It sucks because no matter where we go our problems fololow us. I came to college with the idea that my family problems would not come with me. For a couple of months I was able to convince myself not to worry about my past. Well, that came back to bite me in the butt. I think about what my family, especially my grandmother, is going through. I cannot stop thinking about them. But oh how I would love to! Just one day of no thought or even knowledge about my families condition would be a small temporary utopia for me. But, I know that I love my family too much to not think about them. You know what another problem there is for me? I can't forgive those son of a b!@#h men that practicly ruined my family. Like my mom's ex boyfriend that caused her to lose four out of five kids to DSS. Or my grandmother's husband, not my my grandfather thank God, that is the reason that I can't even go home on breaks. What is the deal with not being able to have even a small temporary utopia. Well, people find ways with drugs and alcohol. I know I used to. I just thought that I would express my feelings on the "utopia" that NEVER even exsisted? So why, I think, does the stupid word even exsist?

The word was coined because of a book titled "Utopia". I would give you the name of the author and the time it was published if I knew. All I know is it was published many years ago and the term utopia came about because of this book.
I do not wish for a utopia. I did a blog entry on this as well. "My Vision of Utopia" explained how the imperfect world has it's own perfections.
