The sporting event of the year is coming up within only a few short weeks. Go ahead and take that puzzled look off your face, I know the Super Bowl's already passed, and no, that's not it. And after last year's debacle, you should feel ashamed for even bringing the World Series into this. No, I'm talking about March Madness. As all the bracketology and bubble popping comes to an end, the real fun begins. It doesn't matter if any of my teams are in it or not (I never would've thought I could be excited about Washington State basketball and at the same time disappointed with Gonzaga basketball), the thrill of victory and agony of defeat comes across every player's face all game. When a player you've never heard of makes the game winning shot for a school you've never heard of, the excitement and pure joy is far greater than any professional sport or reality TV show. For every Wally Szerbiack, there is a Chris Webber. For every Duke there is a George Mason University. And every game you watch will be filled with excitement and drama. Just wait, this is the year a 16 seed beats a #1 seed. Enjoy!
