Sometimes people don't think when it comes to money, sometimes they just run out and do what they think they need to do in order to put it in the palm of their hands. This little piece that I am displacing here shows you my train of thought after finding one of my short stories as the entire story line for a show I had watched on one of my common tv channels. The story was displayed publicly but I assumed that since there had ben a date, name, and face to go with it, that seeing it on a show wouldn't have been possible without my permission.
Here were my thoughts, and finally the amnesia piece that I included after the thoughts:
First of all, before I get started, I found a loophole in the copyright law as in the whole Bagdad story that I wrote, by the way that wasn't idea theft, that was copyright infringement because it was in a story, it's against the law to write a story to script without the author's permission. Even if the story is changed slightly, in other words, it applies to a slightly different location, but it's the same story line, that happens commonly when a story is written to script, it's still copyright infringement.
Therefore, in all my movies they are going to be written in novel form as the ideas come up and in script form as I am able to script them. This way, they have no way of being taken from me without me being able to sue. I don't appreciate it. It's like a shadow following me around sealing all my income, it pisses me off because I don't deserve it. And as far as Amnesia goes, all that's ever been written in is script, novel, or poetry form. If someone thinks they are going to use it, there's no way around the copyright infringement with that. Somehow I knew it'd be a good one.
Second of all, I can use the feeling from this next exerpt in my novel. It's about a guy I grew up with and comparing him to this most recent DNA prospect (it's science and nature and instinct, I’m sure that's all it is). Just another part of the tale.
Kevy
The way you laughed and carried on,
you wouldn't back down,
smiling as if nothign was wrong,
We shared the same everything, waiting on that gown.
We had the same brain and mind,
you knew me forever,
You were so freindly, I was so unkind.
You weren't going to break me ever.
Just another guy that won't let me find,
Mr. disappear or my family, so clever.
But we matched in our style,
our size and our hair,
we even matched in our file,
In every aspect we compare.
I could let stick around for awhile,
Life would be so easy with you there.
Lotsa love,
-Wildrose
