Medical care is nessairy. If you can afford it you should have mediacl insurance - most people do. Medical procedures can become very costly and impossiable to afford if one is uninsured. Depending on you plan it covers different things some people get thier medical insurance through work. what if you dont have medical insurance and you have a health problem?
I think that something should be done to help the faily that are victim to unisured medical care becuase it is messiary and can be hard for the family. We help natural disaster victims - this is a different type of disaster.
Well Minnesota hospitals are taking action. Uninsured patients treated by Fairview or Alliana hospitals could be entilted to discounts. If they were treated from 99' - 05' then it is possiable that they will get a 25% discount.This could be possiable by a class action settlement.
This obviously wont fix things but it's helping. I would propose a plan that would involve more investigation but we could look ar the taxes and where they are being spent and work to reduce that. The put some of it towards medical care in general - give it to the hospitals so they could charge less to everyone.
I'm not sure if medicare would help at all but I do know that something should be done. Canada is able to get medicine for cheaper - we should try to do something to help everyone get medicine and the medical care that we all deserve.
