Divorce is such a big issue in our society. Kids tend to shatter when their parents get a divorce. I think that divorce isnt such a bad deed. It's better to have the parents seperated than having to constantly deal with them yelling at each other.
My parents arent divorced, but they live in different countries. I always lived mostly with my mom and hardly see my dad. I dont have any trouble dealing with it, and it was never hard, because its just a habit. If people would just not freak out about divorce, it would be so much better for them!

think about it from other kids points of view. they might think, what did i do to have them leave. was i not good enough of a daughter. do they hate me? if i straighten up will they not leave? i never had a problem because i hated my mom. my father however waited until both me and my sister were ok with it before he got a divorce. i think that parents should make sure that the kids understand what is going on.
I wish that my parents' divorce wasn't bad for me like it wasn't for you. Also, I agree with cherie that you have to think about it from other people's point of view because bad things might happen to other people (like myself) because of their parents' divorce like for example, your mother might force you to get a job, so she can earn more money to pay for bills, groceries, etc. and because she can't help you pay for your education anymore because she might have too many bills to pay.
