Where has patience gone? Many times I have encountered moments when my order takes longer than expected, or the trafffic light is going a little slow and the expressway is backed up for 6 exits...and I am still calm. It amazes me how outrageous and rude people can be when they are told that they have to wait longer. Never do they consider the fact that this extra amount of time is to enure their order is done correctly.
Maybe it is because I deal with customers at my job and I can clearly sympathize with workers who have to deal with rude behavior from customers that are a bit too impatient...wanting everything right now! Just take it easy and be more patient...it will make you more rational; trust me, it's true.
Cut out the attitude and be more empathic. Think about how you'd feel being stuck at a job where you have to confront customers who roll their eyes too muchand threaten you by always rushing to call a manager over something petty. I watch the littlegestures of frustrations given by those ahead of me in line and I have to laugh at how sef-centered the world has become and how much we have lost touch with our reasonable/considerate nerves...
It's great that I workin an environment where I show leadership, leaving little room for my tolerance of fussiness...
Feel free to share any run-ins with impatient situations or moments where you yourself have been the patient/impatient one.

I try to be patient, but I freely admit that sometimes I do get frustrated. Most especially when I'm sitting at a traffic light in the middle of the night and there isn't another car for miles and still I must sit there and wait, and wait and wait.
My husband and his story telling ability also makes me lose my patience. He'll start telling you a story and then stop for a minute or two and then start again and this goes on and on and on until I just want to scream for him to get to the end of the story or bugger off lol. He's a dear but phew! Those horribly long pauses in the middle of the story are more than I can handle.
