There is a region of our society, coinciding ubiquitously
with discontent, nurturing, as culture would have it, something new, original,
brave, free, exotically dangerous. Yet, when they grasp this which they’ve
constructed for themselves, their contentment is only a temporary phenomenon,
lasting mere minutes, or generally no longer than heavyset hours, running into
the need for satisfaction, for consumption of material goods or psychological
stimulation. People are not content with being people. They search inside
themselves, to popular society, to unique experiences but still find themselves
lacking. They search for communion with God but fail to recognize the extent of
that commitment and dwindle out of it.
I think there's a need for commitment to the things of life that matter.

"people are not content with being people". that is so true. This shows with the development in medicine. Defying death by taking medication and even more with plastic surgery. Mutation is increasing and definetly not for the good although many seem to think it is.
People are searching for fulfillment in their lives, and instead of looking to God to fill the voids in their lives they turn to drugs and sex and alcohol.
Wow. I never knew that m asthma medicine was sinful...

I'm sorry - I found that funny.
Yeah, it was a freewrite; I wasn't thinking about those mandatory necessities, lol. Thanks though, that made me smile.
