REINSTATE MR COLLINS part three-- School Board Elections are Tomorrow!

I know it’s been a long time since my last post, but I finally have something new and good to say about Mr. Collins’ case (see my previous posts for the full story there.)

Mr. Collins decided to decline the public hearing. He officially retired, there was no hearing, and everything quieted down for a while, and it would've seemed the administration had won.

But you can’t harm a great person like Mr. Collins and anger a community that supports him so much and get away scot-free. Tomorrow we elect new members to the school board, and I have a very hard time believing any member on that board now whose turn is up will be reelected. Anyone who’s willing to prosecute the best teacher our school has over trumped up charges for God knows what ridiculous reason is not someone we want in charge of this district. So, calling all voters in my area—you know who to vote for!

Once the new board is in place, in April, when they have another board meeting, Mr. Collins can be reinstated in his rightful position.

And all I can say is—it’s about time!!
