I truly believe that humility is a virtue that I alone possess, thus making me far superior than all other individuals that inhabit this prideful world. My unsurpassed, superhuman ability of being utterly humble is something that even a sovereign being such as I cannot fathom. After careful examination of the mortals below me, I have come to the theory that the key factor attributing to their boastful, sinful state is that of hypocrisy. Being gifted in the area of humility, I will attempt to address all hypocritical bloggers in need of salvation from their current prideful conditions, so that one day they too will be worthy of becoming a divine humble being such as I.
The first issue that I wish to address is that of progressiveness. Examine the following sample sentence: "Name-calling isn't a progressive thing to do, you moronic cotton-headed-ninny-muggins." There are also a few in similitude to: "You're not being progressive because you aren't willing to think outside the box and admit that I am the only correct being on the face of this planet." And then there are situations such as: "They're not being progressive! Everyone is so immature! I will therefore list the names of all the members of ProgressiveU who are conspiring against me!" Of course, there are also users who specifically post just to incite controversy, yet are not welcome to any when he/she is the one being provoked. Either that, or they compose blog upon blog regarding the issue of the stupidity of blogging here.
Hmmmm, what hypocrisy. Certain beings are just blinded by their pride; what can I say, they have yet to reach the highest, enlightened state of humility I have long ago achieved.
The most laughable posts I have encountered so far are ones addressing the issue of the scholarship money behind this competition. When the money was awarded at the end of the competition, those claiming that their faithfulness to blogging solely stemmed from their love of discussion and debate are now churning out posts of belly-aching rants at the unfairness of losing. Now that initial love for discussion and debate has turned sour because of the many fruitless hours spent on blogging about what the word progressive means, or the validity of this site when nobody seems to agree that one's reasoning is the only correct doctrine in existence. Wow, all that hard work when one could have been employed and earning an equal amount of money in merely a few short weeks!
Ranting, first off, is such a terrible thing to do -- almost as terrible as questioning my humility, my ability to see through hypocrisy, or the progressiveness of this post, for that matter.

Whether or not I'm a fellow hypocrite, I enjoyed reading this blog. Could've been better though.
Humble yourself. I can tell that you have yet to reach the perfected state of humility I have.
How can I be more humbler? I know I'm the most perfectest human being I know. Of course I'm judging my perfection solely on my most exellent knowledge of grammer and spelling.
A few steps to becoming more humbler: you must a) first ingest three gallons of Choc-choc-choc-olific Chunky Munkey ice-cream while watching the Colbert Report. b) Ponder if there are actual beings that actually believe Colbert is actually a conservative. c) Spin around four times.
I hope this helps. These were the most progressive steps I could think of.
Dudette. You are awesome.
(*sigh*), I suppose so....
...if only my math professor would share the same sentiment after grading my final exam...
Haha. This is the best post I have read. Kudos.
Thank you. One can only imagine how comments such as these affect my unequivocal state of humbleness.
First of all I just have to say...I LOVE THIS POST. And I agree with what you are saying here. The parts of your blogs that do not refer to yourself are SO TRUE. Thank you for this needed relief and laugh. Keep writing!

I beg your pardon -- the parts that do not refer to me? And there I was thinking the opposite...
Oh well.
Perhaps you were being satirical as well. Thanks, though.
Well, seeing as I don't actually KNOW you, I can't really say much as to whether or not the parts refering to you are actually true.

Haha, yes, I know.
Guess I got a bit carried away with the sarcasm.
Nice. I arrived late on the scene (a few hours ago, actually) but I'm getting the sense that this is exactly how I will feel about things, given time. Actually, I love how people automatically assume that other people suck just because they're being disagreed with. These things don't get better with age.
Well, welcome. Hopefully you'll be able to dodge any ridiculous online drama that I've unfortunately witnessed on this site.
