Alright, so a couple people left me comments about my previous blog saying how my thoughts are "completely against what blogging stands for" and that I'm "on the wrong site if all [I] want to talk about is [my] personal life". Thanks for the comments guys, it really means a lot to me when people give me their opinions based on what I think.
Well, I'd just like to express that blogging itself is basically a way for people to share their opinions to random people whom they have never met nor know anything about. It's not that I don't like the topics, it's just that we already HAVE a surge of people saying the exact same thing and the last thing really needed is for you to show off how cool you are because you know about a topic and feel so passionate about it.
What I want are stories, not articles. Tell me about your personal life and what motivates you, tell me about the most inspirational time you ever had, tell me why you insist on spreading your voice over everyone elses.
These are the meaningful lessons that I want to hear, these are the messages that truly inspire people, these are what people want to read!
I'll be honest, I believe that at least 40% of bloggers are people who believe that their blog is the best and really matters. That they feel good inside because people take their time to come look at their blog and read it. But do they really read every single word? I'm pretty sure if you tell your friends to read it, they'll stop by, skim it a little, then just head off. Some of you are probably even doing it right now! I KNOW that my blog isn't super known and that a lot of people who read this couldn't care what I say and it's not a big deal to me.
I am completely comfortable with myself and would just like to hope that there's somebody out there that isn't comfortable with themself that could use my help. I LOVE helping people, I LOVE voicing my opinion but only if I feel STRONGLY about it and can BACK IT UP with justification.
I'm just tired of hearing people whine about how badly they feel for disaster victims, but they don't help out with a donation or volunteer service. The people who complain about fast food but eat it once a week. The people who practically advertise 9/11 as a tradgedy but only so they can get a day off school. They don't care about 9/11, they care about sleeping in and hanging out with friends.
Well, comtemplate that for a minute, let it all sink in. I'll be waiting for the rebuttle
Note: In accordance to ProgressiveU rules, I am no longer able to fully show the example stories any more, but if you would like, private message me and I'll send them to you.

YOU GO GIRL. Stick it to them. I'm not gona lie, I'm not the most caring person out there. If I do care, I don't do much to contribute. But that's irrelevant. lol Anyway, I want you to know that I read your entire blog, and I'm going to go to your profile and read some of your others. Have a good night. <3
I'm not a girl..
Either way, that's HILARIOUS and thanks for the support!
if you had put it that way in your last post your words would have been inspiring from the start, but criticizing is hardly the way to get people to share more of their true selves. maybe you weren't going for that but thats how you came across to a number of people. what if a certain post is who they are, that is the most important thing to them...but because its been said before...its not important? you definitely interest me though : )
Not to rain on your parade but I've thought about this and I'm sure others have too. It's not such a shocking idea to me as a increasingly disturbing one, the money article that is. As for the same topic argument, critisize all you want but in the end you are doing it yourself. In fact , not to point fingers, but to me it seems you are creating a stereotype that most bloggers feed off of other's tragedy, athough i may admit this accusation may be based somewhat off of truth, you are still ranting like the rest of them on what you think sucks. Anyways, these are just my opinions. And I'm sur you are skimming it like you said in youir post. I DO agree with that one.
Glutenously yours,

I really am feeding off other things, if you know anything about Costa's Levels of Thinking, the highest level of thinking involves taking things in, processing them, combining them with things you already knew, and creating something new.
I don't really read many people's blogs unless they spark an interest in me and most of the time, they won't, Thats why I prefer personal experiences =D
Well, if you're focusing on what I said in the beginning, then you obviously didn't come away with the message of my comment. I agree that people go on about the same topics. But we do not want stories. In fact, your post could get cited for plagiarism. No more than 4 paragraphs of an outside source in any given blog. Pretty sure you have more than that. We don't want unoriginal content. We want your thoughts.
Read Fallon's blog. She has some fabulous blogs that deal with her personal life, but she does it in a way that does fit with the mission of our site. And, surprising as it may be, there are those of us out trying to make a difference beyond this site. It's just a lot easier to be heard here than it is somewhere else, seeing as how here you can be heard by thousands of people all around the world. And, well, in your hometown, you'd be lucky to get a few thousand to listen to you.

Check out the latest entry in the Between The Lines column!
Believe me, if I still kept in touch with the person who wrote that, I'd cite them.
The stories are an example of what I believe, real blogs shoud be. Not that I have anything against anyone else's blogs on this fine community, if need be, I will take the stories off an.
I express my thoughts about the blogs and merely used the passages for reference, I would've posted a link but once again, I no longer keep in touch with the authors.
I'll be posting my blogs with personal experiences, stories, opinions, etc. within the next few days, I just thought I'd share some thoughts about the community before I address the rest of the world.
Not bad though for a first day of blogging ;)
