OK, so a promise is a promise, and it should not be broken. Now I admit, Paddington isn't into the prenups, AT ALL, and I agree that they DO undermine your credibility a little as a partner, but the issue is slightly different, what if your partner doesn't follow through on the prenups? I mean, if they are prenups regarding how each other would treat each other during the marriage rather than just what would happen if you got divorced, you know prenups being pretty much the same thing as the vows, would you get divorced or would you live with it? I'm just wondering. A lot of people are a little too bullheaded to let themselves go down with a divorce, even when the promises are broken, and then there are others who are too impatient to let things wade out and divorce right away, including as much death as possible into the divorce, but then there are others who just agree mutually. Sometimes it’s hard to tell which way to go, how do you know when it's to far? When he throws the first insult or lashes the first hit?
Now let go of that metaphore and bring it into the political world, not the world of politics, but the world of having over a million and over a billion people in the palm of your hands to maneuver around, including their welfare, as well as tons of resources that have global implications. What would you do with your promises there? I'm not even the winner and I could say right now that although I really don't appreciate this whole entire new concept of politics that I have been learning through my lover (I have to study it more now) I stay at his side. How can just a few people disregard the health, welfare and dignity of so many people in the name of themselves? At the same time, how can one guy be a winner and another claim to be one and yet enjoy such bad sportsmanship? It's amazing.
Lotsa love,
