New York junior Senator Hillary Clinton is running in the 2008 United States presidential election.
Hillary Clinton has long been a newsmaker. After graduating from Yale Law School in 1970, she became the first female partner of Rose Law Firm and was named as one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America twice. She served as First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and again from 1983 to 1992. She then served as the First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. In 2001, she began her first term in the United States senate.
Major campaign issues for Hillary Clinton include providing affordable and accessible health care to all Americans, ending the war in Iraq, and restoring America's standing in the world. A complete list of issues and more information about Hillary Clinton can be found at her campaign website.

I have read Hillary's executive summary of her health care plan and she does not address how the plan will be paid for, only estimates of how the government will save money over the current system by repealing the Bush tax cuts and eliminating oversspending. First, I have yet to see the government control spending on any level, which begs the question, what makes her think the governement will control health care spending? Based on past experience, the government estimates conservatively; whatever the estimates are for this health care system, the actual cost will likely be more. What are the estimated tax bracket increases?
I did some math, lets say it is a conservative 10% tax increase. My household earns 90000.00 yearly. That is a tax increase of 9000.00. That is over 9 times what I am currently paying and over 3 times more than I have ever paid. Only one person in my home pays for health insurance, that is a great benefit. A health care tax will be imposed on every income earner in a household. Now if only the breadwinner was taxed that would be more in affordable for most household. Now, I also heard Hillary wants to give every new baby born $5000.00 for college, retirement or whatever. How is that going to be paid for? another tax increase? Even if she pulls all the troops out of Iraq that will not pay for her health care plan. With so many people going into foreclosure now because of ARM mortgages wouldn't a tax increase for health care put even more people at the brink of forclosure? Any tax increase on some of these people will put them over the edge into foreclosure.
How does Hillary plan to address these concerns?
You've been under a lot of scrunity lately because of your gender, Do you think this helps or hurts you campaign? Why or Why not?
As President, What do you plan to do to increase minority rights, especially those of Women?
I would like to know why she wanted to run for President in the first place.
Oh, you do know that Argentina got their first female President right? That sort of gave me an impression that Hillary actually has a chance...

President Bush approved a plan to offer federal funds to sex education programs that taught abstinence-only sex education (what an oxymoron). What will you do about the state of sex education in our country? Because frankly, abstinence-only just isn't cutting it.
No Child Left Behind was a poorly thought out plan for the long term improvement of our country's schools. Are you going to abolish, change, or maintain NCLB in the future?
Common sense is as rare as genius. ~Emerson
I'm willing to put my foot in the door on this one. I debated for Hillary Clinton this week in my global issues class on education and foreign policy. Hillary's official stance on education is that she backs No Child Left Behind, and she particularly likes the aspect that it sets a standard for "highly qualified" teachers. However, Hillary believes that the funding of No Child Left Behind has been poor and sporadic. Hillary's plans for NCLB will echo what she has done for New York--to attract good teachers to high-need areas, and create an environment for individualized learning, and to devote more funding towards improving NCLB. If you want more information, I recommend looking at Hillary's campaign website, her website as senator, or the basic-yet-thorough Wikipedia, where information can be found by putting in "political positions of Hillary Clinton." (I would recommend ontheissues.org or VoteMatch, but neither of those goes into much detail on her plans.)

I couldn't resist asking her if she'd get a 22 year old intern to give her head if she was elected president, with the whole election campaign being part of an elaborate revenge deal she's been nurturing since Billy and Miss Lewinski played a duet with the Devil's trombone all those years ago.
Revenge is a dish that those of taste prefer to serve cold, No fury like a woman scorned and all that....

I'm curious as to which things she says are actually those she believes and which are just a ploy to make us think she believes.
Of course I would never really ask her that, and I would never word it the way I really want to...

Do you or do you not support New York Governor Spitzer's legislation giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants? Yes or no.
Can I see a detailed breakdown of the budget for your universal health care plan, and what programs you will cut and/ or taxes you will raise in order to obtain this money?
Do you consider yourself a socialist?
What programs do you plan to eliminate in order to decrease the current national debt?
Why did you fail to report more than $2 million in contributions to your Senate 2000 campaign?
Your husband has a history of sexual assault and adultery. He is on public record accused of rape and sexual harassment of two campaign supporters, Ms. Broaddrick and Ms. Wiley, in 1978 and 1993, respectively. Both accuse you and your husband of intimidation tactics and continued victimization against them when they spoke against him. Please tell us how you feel about violence against women, and why neither you nor your husband have never apologized. Also answer, how can a nation stand behind a woman who remains with a man who has publicly humiliated her for three decades?
What accomplishment are you most proud of as Senator of New York? What do you most want to accomplish in the future as President?
I'd ask Hillary about her position on NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement). Both her husband & Al Gore were major supporters of NAFTA when they were in office. Al Gore even debated Ross Perot over NAFTA on Larry King's show back in 1993. American manufacturing jobs have disappeared because of NAFTA. Does she support this agreement, or does she believe in protecting American jobs?
I'd also ask her to clarify her position on illegal immigration. She voted for the Senate's amnesty plans from 2006 & '07 (oops, I meant to say, "Comprehensive Immigration Reform"......my bad). However, she also voted for the border-fence bill last year. During last night's presidential debate, she couldn't give a straight answer regarding her position on Eliot Spitzer's plan to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. So once & for all Mrs. Clinton, where do you stand on this critically important issue?
I'd also like to ask Hillary if she supports campaign finance reform, so that criminals can no longer support her campaigns.
I'd ask her if Bill would be her "co-president," much like she was during his presidency.
I'd ask her if she thought that Janet Reno's tactics against the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas were too extreme.
I'd ask her what she thought of heavily armed federal agents invading a home in Miami & seizing a terrified Cuban boy.
I'd ask her if she thought her husband should have accepted Sudan's offer of Osama Bin Ladin back in 1996.
I'd ask her if she thought her husband's use of cruise missiles - and nothing else - against suspected terrorist targets was effective.
I'd ask her to stop talking about Bush, Cheney, the "Republican Attack Machine" (as if the Democrats don't have one of their own) & to start clearly defining her presidential agenda.
While I realize this was the only reaction America would have accepted, I will point out that Clinton returned most of the donations Norman Hsu raised for her. Reuters has good articles on the issue.

What about Peter Paul?
She never returned those. And she claims not to even know the man even though she's on video thanking him at a Hollywood gala.
Yea, I watched that video. *laughs hysterically*
Also, do not forget about all the Chinese dishwashers that have no addresses, yet have enough money to donate millions to her campaign. Hmmm...
Clinton was asked to return $35,000 of her campaign money, and Paul was never convicted. I concede that Clinton definitely needs to either pay attention to where her funding is coming from, or stop gaining it illegally. It's certainly bad PR. :)

I don't care if Paul is convicted. I care that once he was accused of being a convicted felon, she claimed to not know him.
Regardless, these questions are intended for Hillary Clinton, not for you.
I'd ask Hillary if she'd pardon Ignacio Ramos & Jose Compean, the two former border patrol agents who were overzealously prosecuted by Johnny Satan - oops, I meant Sutton - for shooting & wounding a Mexican drug smuggler. They each received 10+ year sentences & have been sitting in separate federal prisons since January. The drug smuggler was granted immunity to testify against the two agents.
I'd ask her if she thought impeaching Bill for a "blow job" was fair.
If it is true she always had her fingers on the nuclear weapons buttons. Like her husband's nuclear football carrier would suggest.
If she wore a costume before going trick or treating.
How much the budget deficit would drop after she gives all newborn American Children $5000.
If she had a political strategy by not divorcing Bill during the "blow job" incident.
Why she's obsessed with Bush.
If she would allow her daughter to marry a girl.
How she would feel if she was having problems paying her rent or house off, and a new president raises taxes.
If they don't have a gun in the house.
Why she looks soooo insincere when speaking.
Lastly, where she got all that campaign money from.
Haha... you're funny. She complains about "right wing conspiracy" and since last week's debate she added "left-wing conspiracy" but every five seconds it's "Bush bush bush bush bush"... I wonder if she shaves or waxes. ; )
On another note, I'm pretty sure Chelsea is straight. Other than that, good questions.
Which ghostwriter did you use for "Living History"?
Do you realize that many people won't vote for you because they see you as too inside the political system to make change?
I would be interested in knowing how exactly Hillary plans to convince American automakers to make more fuel-efficient vehicles when, at every turn, those same automakers are facing massive losses and lay offs. While I support the idea of S-CHIP, I'm also curious as to how it would function. How can she cover both people eligible for Social Security and cover children? How can she do it efficiently?

If elected Prez of the USA who will you pardon first, you or your husband?
Here is my 2cents.
Condi Rice should be the next President of the USA..
I'd ask her why she had Vince Foster murdered.
I never heard about that... and I'm a devoted Hillary-Hater.
Do you have a link?
http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2003/12/4/04312.shtml
NewsMax is not the most reliable source. But you wouldn't expect a proper investigation of this in the liberal media would you?
If you google Vince Foster and Hillary you will find tons of this stuff some supporting and some refuting.
The legal system owes Hillary the presumption of innocence. As a private citizen I have no such responsibility or obligation. (I'm pretty sure OJ Simpson was guilty too despite the findings of the jury.) I think there is a pretty good chance that she had Foster murdered because he was about to reveal something that would damage the Clintons. He was not the first associate of the Clintons to die under questionable circumstances.
Wow.
That's some pretty interesting stuff there. Even better than Peter Paul.
