Shopping for college textbooks

Tagged:

Today I bought my first set of college textbooks. The initial rush of finally having made it to college was starting to wear off, and the reality of college was starting to settle in. Tuesday was the first day of classes and I did not have any of my books. The textbooks shop was on the third floor of the student stores building, and I could already see that there were plenty of people shopping for their books at the last minute. I started looking for my drama book. Simple enough, but then I could not find my english books, or my political science books. That was when the stress of shopping for my books and the amount of people in the store started to take hold of me. I could not believe the amount of people in the store. I decide to calm down and start looking again. It could not be too hard. Thirty minutes later and I had finally finished this hectic chore. Never again will I leave shopping for my textbooks to the last minute. While this was a great experience, may it never happen again.

Here's what to do. Go to the bookstore and write down the ISBN numbers of all the books you need. Go to www.bigwords.com and enter them there. The site will find them for you for the best prices in the fewest shipments. I saved literally hundreds of dollars doing it this way.

Hug a musician, they never get to dance.

I have been there.
I actually like looking for my books, unless they dont have mine and i have to fill out a request form.
Most profs. are really understanding though.

Go to Half.com I did for 4 classes I spent appx 179.99 for books. If I went to the book store it would have been well over 300 :)
