I have since seized watching news since year 2006 I have lost my zest for new, hot and furious information. Does this sound familiar? I have given up on American polity and our rising yet falling economy.
Should we believe everything we are told? From our elementary teachers to our mighty leaders and politiacians. My head has been clouded with too much information. It has come to a point where I really cannot tell. Which ones are sincere.
Being an education major I seek truth and to be in a position to teach truth not what is main stream popularity. From our history books to broadcasts on CNN. where is the truth? Since september 11th the truth seems to be lost in a thick fog that the ones with keen vision can only see or choose to see.
As a future educator I battle with being one who works for money or one for purpose. How can I educate in the midst of deception and lies?
As a child I was taught the goods and bads and what is true and what was false. We, in schools are taught dogmatic ideals and are then thrust into the real world with only the harsh reality that the world is not that nice or honest of a place. It seems to me that everyone is out to get their own. Disreguarding morality and soverignty for their own gains.
Living in a third world country and having the luxury of satilte. I was able to watch different news chanels. American, Nigerian, Iranian, Eygptian, and even Brittish. The INFO I was getting from CNN were much different that that of other nations. It was like they were there for the sole purpose of promoting BUSH and the WAR ON TERRORISM. They showed every bad clip of Sadam they could, and Iraqi supporters of there cause, but what of the many others who shouted and screamed the opposite. It seemed like CNN's job was just to promote what they wanted aired and not the truth. Watching foriegn news you get a completly opposite or different story.
That is just an instance of what I am talking about.
But what I am trying to get at is that. I have learned through time that you can't trust the media or our polity. They are only looking out for them selves. Not us. It is our children and people who goto war and fight for their causes and die. While they and their families sit tight and watch as if it is a sports game. They feed and tell us lies to justify there means.
Where is the truth because I cannot see it. The only where I find it is through my own unbiased investigations. I have learned never take anything anybody says by face value, you got to take the facts and research it your self. Because we as a nation have been swayed by what we have been told or shown on the media with out taking proper time to truely investigate.
