Abortion is still a big issue. Many are for it while others are against it, personally i am 1000% against abortion. I believe that abortion is murder without a doubt in my mind.
Im against it, but then there are some circumstances that leave room for abortion. For example, if a woman is raped, she shouldnt be forced to watch for a child that was never meant to be even thought i do believe everything happens for a reason. The child is obviously unwanted by the rape victim because the baby will just be a reminder of what you went through.I believe that that should be the only circumstance that a woman should be allowed an abortion. Then again whos to say that if a law like that was passed, that alot of woman will suddenly be victims of rape. Some will be telling the truth, while others would lie about the unwanted pregnancy and claim they were in fact rape victims.Thats one problem that i think about constantly,i myself know i am against abortion but then situations like that get me thinking that maybe at times they are necessary.
Then of course theirs the womens point of view. They believe its their right. The law cant make a woman take care of her child, let alone keep the child. If a woman made a mistake, she feels that she shouldnt have to suffer or do something she doesnt want to do.
Its is her right to decide, it is her body but its also murder.Do we kill someone because we dont want them around or because we dont like them? The answer is yes, but the important question is are we as americans punished for our crimes? Yes we are.
Now a big part of this controvery is the view that it is murder.
People pro abortion believe that the baby isnt a living thing, of course its living but they dont consider it a human untill after its birth.Once it take its first breathe of air on its own, then the baby is actually considered a living breathing human being.
People like myself who are against abortion have our own views on that theory. We believe that the baby is human once the egg is fertilized.Sure the baby does not breathe on its own untill its actual birth, but that doesnt mean the child is dead, the baby is dependant on its mother and pro abortioners believe that the child cannot be dependant and must breathe on its own. What about people who are on life support? They dont breath on their own, yet they arent considered "dead" or not breathing.Sure they arent doing it by themselves, but they still are breathing.
So my whole problem with abortion is, its basically murder.
Whether its a person on life support or an embryo dependant on its mother, breathing is breathing with or without help.
Breathing means life, stopping life is death.
Abortion=Death!!!!!
So do i feel that woman have a right to get rid of their unborn child? The answer is no, i believe that rape is the only excuse.I also feel that everytime is not the best time to have a child and its a very expensive and time consuming thing.I feel that maybe woman should have a certain amount of abortions, like a limit. Maybe twice or three times and thats pushing it.
I believe woman have a right but so does the unborn child.
We all have rights, a woman has the upper hand in this type of situation because the child doesnt speak and cant inform us of what it wants, but nonetheless it still has rights.
We all have rights the question is should we grant the woman hers, or should grant her her right to an abortion only three times if need be, and from there on give the child the right it deserves.
Many woman are for abortion and understandable so, but what about the baby?
Who speaks for the unborn child?
We do, people who are against abortion speak for the child and i intend to keep speaking for the unborn child because it also has rights.I as a young lady am completly am against abortion and would never get one because i wouldnt be able to live with myself.Im not trying to put guilt into those who have done it in the past but personally i would nerver and the thought would nerver even cross my mind.
I would be more carefully and if i was raped, thats the only way i would get an abortion.Even then i would feel bad, because its not the child fault it would be the man who raped me.
I am against abortion!

Look at that! It's so much easier to read now.
Common sense is as rare as genius. ~Emerson
If you want your criticisms of the pro-choice position to be taken seriously, you really need come to a realistic and accurate understanding about the reasons for that position.
People pro abortion believe that the baby isnt a living thing,> of course its living but they dont consider it a human untill
> after its birth. Once it take its first breathe of air on its own,
> then the baby is actually considered a living breathing human
> being.
This is pure prevarication. The most common opinion of the pro-choicer is that that human personhood begins at the moment that the brain develops enough for consciousness to begin. The human personality and the ability to percieve the world and react to it (including to sensations of pain) marks this point. Prior to that point, there is no "baby" to consider, since the fetus does not exhibit the definitional benchmarks that would consistently indentify them as a human person.
People like myself who are against abortion have our own views> on that theory. We believe that the baby is human once the egg
> is fertilized.
Unfortunately, that belief is not supportable in an objective fashion, and is in fact contrary to much of what we know about early human development. In fact, this opinion is based more often than not on a purely religious point-of-view, rather than on any solid understanding of the relevant biology.
So do i feel that woman have a right to get rid of their unborn child?> The answer is no, i believe that rape is the only excuse.
This position is inconsitent with the rest of your argument. If a child is a human person from the moment of its conception, then there is NO reason that would be sufficient to overcome the unalienable right to life that human persons enjoy. To allow this "exception" would seem to demonstrate that you do not in fact believe that a "baby" has rights from the moment of conception, but rather that your real issue is with the REASONS that a woman might have an abortion, rather than the fundamental rights to which your argument ultimately appeals.

so i agree with u on being totally against it, but i dont think rape is even a good reason to have one, its all stupid

Rape is a perfectly good excuse to have an abortion. I am not against abortion. And frankly, (even myself have spent alot of time arguing about it) we could go on in circles about what is right and what is wrong. The bottom line is, Americas public has NO RIGHT to decide for a woman if she is going to keep a baby or not. It's like, being nosey. Just butt out of peoples business.
If the people have no right to make a woman's choice, how does the woman have the right to make the babies choice? I assume the people and government should not put people in jail and such because what business of ours is it if they murder people? You have made a illogical ridiculous argument!
We could talk until the cows come home, and then talk to the cows about it, but in the end we won't be able to change your mind about abortion, and you won't be able to change ours. However, I still want to point a few things out:
--A lot of people think that an embryo or fetus isn't a human yet - an embryo is a collection of cells (with no human shape or function), and a fetus is just beginning to develop primitive systems (i.e. digestive).
--Pro-choice does not necessarily mean pro-abortion. My mother is pro-choice, but she does not like abortions and thinks they should only be used in extreme circumstances, such as rape, or if the mother really couldn't care for a child, or if the mother wasn't healthy, etc.
--The bottom line between pro-lifers and pro-choicers is usually religion - and religion and government do not coincide when it comes to making federal decisions.
Just as crystalshardz89 said, the federal/state/local government and it's citizens has no right to tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body. No right at all.
i am pro-abortion even though A LOT of ppl are against it...i was on the PRO side for my debate team. If you look at it, when you have an abortion it's the first 2 months or 3 months of your pregnancy...that's when they're a cell (if you've taken health class you should know) and sometimes females are not ready to have kids...~they are horny to doing it~...but still it's better to abort the cell then making it into a kid who has lots of struggles in their life...
but personally i would never abort my baby cell...it's just an instinct to where i don't want to kill it...i guess a female instint...
