It seems that many people do not like Hilary Clinton as a democratic candidate. When I was the only one in my class that felt this way i was very surprised. With all that she pushed for during her husband's canidacy, and her veiws for today I thought she would winb for sure. Not to mention Obama only has one year experience in being in the Senate. I mean come on!! So I thought some more and i realized many guys were making comments like "a woman could never be president" for reasons like "they PMS". This is completely ridiculous, so i have realized it has come down to this: what are you more racist against? A black president or a woman president. It is sad that the world has come to this, when it should really be about the canidates ideas that best match up to yours. So, if you are a guy who is being pressured by your friends saying Hilary is dumb because she is a woman, take a look at her ideas. Just because she wants equal medical rights for gay people does not make you gay to like her. She wants to give medical benefits to the millions of people that don't have benefits. Try and vote logically, not by skin color or sex.

I think very few democrats are going to elect their primary candidate based on either their race or gender. Sure, some people make jokes, but no one who truly believes it would vote for them anyway.
Agreed. I don't even think that prejudice is a major issue to most people (although it may be for some of those who are prejudiced..but that's just a minority). It's more of the ideas and mindset of the candidate -- change VS experience.

Be careful what you know about your canidates. Obama has more elected experience than Hillary. I think both are qualified, but I don't think any American should choose someone just because they are a female or African American.
But let's also be careful about what we think about experience. Did you have the opportunity to vote for your parents.? Your parents did not have a clue as to what they were doing and your life is more important in my opinion. This country could run it'self need be.
I think the average blogger on this site is younger than myself, but work expreience will teach you that you have to walk before you run and often times a newbie is 5 times better than a veteran.
This country needs a fresh outlook on how to do business so in this case we may need honesty as opposed to experience.

This actually isn't true. Obama has 3 years of experience in the Senate, and was a State Senator for 8 years before that. He was also a constitutional law professor, a civil rights attorney, and a community organizer.
His resume isn't as thin as you make it seem.
