My Fellow Bloggers, I ask you this Question, IF Mexico is So bad and theres no work there and Mexico treats its people poorly and kills,inslaves and tortures them, as they say the Mexican Government does and they risk their lives to get across the border away from BIG BAD MEXICO, then why OH why do they want to Parade the Mexican Flag around in America, some one, anyone explain this to me as I do not understand this proud portrayl of Mexico, I mean isnt that what they came here (risk their lives) to get away from?????????????????????????????????????
Also I would like to add My grandfather fought in WW2 so I could be free and not have to deal with this kinda issue, why is my government failing me?

What does WW2 have to do with illegal immigration? We've been dealing with this issue for a long time now. And you sound surprised the government is failing you? I dont know if you read the news lately but take a look around.

Heritage is still heritage. And there are people that wonder how we can be so proud to say we're American (or w.e. technical term you prefer to use...) when so many people in the world seem like they hate us.
And by the same token, should people be ashamed of their country and background because of their (negative) history?
While I understand your point, you still have to realize that Spanish-speaking people have very strong ties to their heritage- no matter what the history.
And not all are immigrants running away from 'slavery and torture.' A lot want jobs... for money... for their families and all...
Sorry if that seemed a bit rambled... Wasn't my intention. =]
Illegals are people too and have the right to display their heritage. Second people are leaving their home countries not because of torture but because of little economic opportunities.
