Why women won't achieve equal rights.

Everytime a girl calls another a Bitch. Or says how ugly or fat another girl, she is lowering another girl. When girls get mad at each other when a guy cheats, instead of the guy, they are holding each other back.

Women hold each other back, more than men hold women back. Women are the ones who say slut, bitch, and skank. Women are the ones who will beat one another up for the lead rhe ballet business is dangerous because of the rivalry between women.

We need to help each other not call each other names. We need to recognize the importance of women being in power. When did Feminism have such a negative connotation? Why won't women vote for Hilary Clinton? Why isn't the ERA now an amendment and why do some young women find that okay?

Ladies we need to think. We need to think very hard. What do we want to achieve? And how are we going to achieve it? Are we going to sit back and blame men? Or are we going to grab one another by the hand and help each other. We are all sisters in some way. We all have something in common.

So next you feel the urge to call a girl a bitch, stop. And think.

Ain't it the truth! I'm guilty of being one of those girls who isn't planning on voting for Hillary, but I've still got research to do. I totally agree with this, amen to you! Girls need to start owning up and working for the greater feminine good! Wonderful blog!

thank you for this. i hope lots of people read it. Its a message that needs to be heard. Gossip only hurts the womens rights movement. It makes us seem childish and unable to get tasks done. its sad that bad news and gossip travel ten times faster than good news and praise. i believe what you are saying. im not sure ill be voting for clinton, but ya. i still belive what you are saying

I think that women do these things because they will recieve so type of creditdation for it from males. But women must look at that a true man would not let no man fight or argue over him. Women do these things dispite that women have come far today, dispite that women are the ones that dont get paid the shared amount that men do.

While I enjoyed and agreed with most of what you said...

I must stand up for my decision to not vote for Hillary.

I will not vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a puppet. She will say anything you want to make you happy whether she cares about it or not. I'm not not voting for her because she's a woman; I'm not voting for her because I will not see her in office.

Otherwise, good post. Clean it up a bit with the syntax and you'll have a great piece of writing.

This post remined me a lot of my 11th grade English teacher. She had no problem with us using inappropriate language during our book discussions (as long as it pertained) as long as we didn't use the word bitch. She said that whenever a women was put into a position of power she automatically became known as a "bitch." It was a very good point and I also enjoyed your writing.

What do we have in common?
A vagina?
Are you saying women are not achieving equal rights because women are not NICE to each other?

Women discriminate against each other and hold each other back. Starting to be nice to each other would be a start.
And besides a vagina. How about the fact that we create life, that we have all experianced men just looking at our breasts. We are a sisterhood.

This is soo true!!! Thank you!!1

It's not just women; we all need to view each other as equals, and stop attacking others to create social distance and character foils for ourselves. Any group of people who chooses to do this will be ahead, but feminist has become a bad term because of the demeaning way they sniff at men.

I just wrote pretty much the same exact thing on my blog before I read your post...an older lady reminded me of this important truth today. We women have a long way to go before we achieve the kind of comradery that it seems men have...women cut each other down way more then men do! I feel lucky to live in a progressive city like Portland Oregon where things seem a little more equal between sexes, but there is still a huge way to go to achieve credibility and a perminint, level place in society along with men.
