Throughout my life I have been plagued by my lack of faith in a religion. When I was in grade school I turned to Wicca, like a lot of kids my age did. I dabbled in it, and though I was young, I never really got over it. Now I'm nineteen and no longer in grade school, but I still find myself drawn to the old religion. Why? That I cannot say, as I'm sure real believers of any religion can't.
What do I believe? Well, there is a Spirit from which all things come, including, the Lord and Lady, two sides of one spirit. There are many facets to each, which have manifested themselves throughout the years. Now that said, what do Wiccans believe, not about the Gods, but morally?
"An it harm none, do what you will"
So far Witches have been portrayed as evil and ugly, but the Witches I'm speaking of are peaceful, believing that everything you do, good or bad, comes back to you three-fold.
Wicca is NOT an occult, or a satanic religion. Wiccans don't believe in Satan so that ones right out.
Wiccans don't sacrifice animals, in fact, it goes against the basic creed.
Wicca is such an interesting religion, it is broad and beautiful, and its recognized by several institutions including the US Army.

i've studied wicca to and i think its great that you made a post about it. alot of people don't understand the "An it harm none, do what you will" motto or that things you put out will come back to you. so no one truely following wicca would hurt others. its not evil :)
One of my friends just converted to Wicca. I think it's a great thing if you're looking for spiritual fulfillment, not personal power.
I've always thought that religion should be something personal and intimate, no matter what your believe, and Wicca seems to be that way for you. I'm a Catholic myself, but I am always willing to support other points of view, in fact the thing that makes America so great is the diversity. I have researched Wicca before and I thing that it really is a good thing, and I would challenge anyone to come up with a different conclusion.
