Ok I have a story that will make you cry, Especially the ProgressiveU crew!! Ok I was watching the channel 6 news when I herd the words “Puppy mill.” Yep you read it right, this was on last night and well, ITS IN FREKIN MOTGUMERY COUNTY!!! I never thought this type of thing would take place so close to home!! Well here is the story; this hellish place is called Happy Apple Kennel, talk about ironic! Well the owners have had a prior arrest for mistreating the animals.
So when channel 6 heard about this they investigated, when they arrived just stepping onto the front porch there was a horrific sent of urine and feces. When they went in, the trash was stacked sky high. I don’t know about you but I could never live like that, I mean granted sometimes I forget to take out the trash, but HONISTLY. A woman was quoted saying “The hair,” on the dogs “was extremely long, it was knotted and had feces in it.” They had adult dogs in small cages, and the cages were stacked on top of each other. That is so crazy!! A lady, Lady X, bought a dog from there and named her Bella, well Bella was sick and in and out of the hospital. She had many conditions including worms, due to a dirty cage. She almost died because of it. Another lady, Lady XX was quoted “two out of the four dogs I bought there are now deceased as a result of misrepresentation as to their health…”
When they had an inspection in January, there was hair, food, and feces build up underneath the cages. They had no fresh air, the basement walls were chewed on and the trash build up. Fo, the owner, refused to show the living quarters of the dogs. The dogs had bad hips and believe it or not the inspection passed as satisfactory, just because they had clean water, fresh food, and adequate shelter. WHAT THE HECK!!! Well there is going to be a part two to this story, until then ponder that and think:
Were worried about trouble over seas when it is next door.

This is a good issue to blog about but I think you need to inject a little more of your take on the situation. Put some of your own point of view in there rather than just rattling off what the news told you. Just a thought.
i took notes on the news the night befor and well i babysat for like a bagillion hours with two adhd kids, got home and said screw it ill just wright what i wrote down!
