When thinking about the future, a great amount of questions come to mind. Questions such as 'What do I want to do after high school? What career will allow me to be happy and make a comfortable amount of money? Can I afford it?' come to mind. These questions are normal when thinking about and planning post-high-school life.
Is it me or does life after high school so unreal? Most high school seniors are absorbed in a life of partying and procrastination. Its difficult to think about the future when the present is so time consuming. People in the world travel 1,000,000 different paths after graduating high school. Life would be easier, if we new the simple answer to the question: Am I going to be successful?
How does one become successful? MOTIVATION. That is the simple answer. Motivation is key to success. Maintaining motivation is part of the struggle. Motivation can be grabbed from many places such as family, hardships and the trait of being inadequate. Motivation can be lost, just as quickly as it could be gained. I don't want to offend anybody but the problem with our generation is laziness. I'm saying that in a way where I am not trying to sugarcoat the truth.
Right now, the world is too wrapped up in celebrities, movies and shopping. What we need to focus on is creating a better future for all of the children on the earth. Most children don't get a chance to be educated, a chance to prove themselves. Children are the foundation of this country mainly because they are the future leaders of our country.
So to all people are starting to plan their lives, think long and hard about how you can make a contribution to the world and its reputation.
