If not Bush...then who?

Every day, everywhere I go there's these flyers, banners, protesters, saying Anyone but Bush. Get Bush in Office. Get him out. We don't want him. Everyday. If fact. the other day I was actually face-to-face handed a invitation to a party inviting me to a last day of Bush in office party. So here's my question Why? What did he do, that someone else wouldn't? What did he do that you can do better? What makes you think you'd be a better president? And what makes you think that anything that Hillary, Obama, Huckabee, or anyone else will do a better job. Did everyone else forget the way it was before Bush? Does anyone else remember what we were screaming. Get him out out of there. We don't want him. Give us anyone, anyone. Anyone will be a better president. Same song different verse. Same book, next chapter. Same battle cry, different person. Who can do a better job? And how? Does anyone besides me fathom how how difficult it must be to be president? Does anyone else besides me see how stressful it is to hold a whole nation in your hands and try to make decisions on the spot that won't destroy them. Try to give them answers to terrorists flying planes into the sides of buildings. Trying to give them answers when they hear that the same country responsible for flying planes into our buildings might have nuclear weapons and then they don't. I think he had our best in mind. That's what I'm chosing to believe. And if you don't then answer me...who does? How are they gonna point us in the right direction. What big mistake could they make and you wouldn't be crawling all over their back when the time came? Did you know that Abe Lincoln was also considered a mistake as a president, and then after all the people that thought that died they realized he was one of the greatest presidents our nation has ever seen? So who knows what could happen? If not Bush...Then who?

Well, I don't like Bush at all, but it's not a big issue to me. I say, let him do whatever he wants until he's out of office. Well, as long as he doesn't cause some worldly disaster. But...I say....if not Bush...then ME. Ha...ha?

I think people are just trying to say that they are plain old sick of having GWB as a president. And they're allowed to think and say so. After all, our children certainly isn't learning....

I believe he's the first president of a whole new era, and anyone who does better would do so by learning from his mistakes. Unlike anyother president he has had to deal with Tropical storms like none before hand, internal and external threats, wars, an explosion of information sharing capabilities, intense globalization, and so on. These are times like none other and for me he has been pretty remarkable.

Another thing is that many of the scandals that have been associated with his administration are things he has little or no control over.

I completely agree with you. What has he done that's so wrong? Our economy was amazing while he was in office. Has he made mistake? Well, sure. What human wouldn't? How could people possibly believe Hillary would be better? She has never done anything remotely important in her life! She moved to NY bcaus eit was the only way she could be voted into congress (i live in NY, so I can talk about that). If everyone else thinks that by sitting and tlaking with suicidal terrorists who have taken their religion to a radical extreme will solve the Iraq crisis then they can go and try it. We'll know how it turns out when we see their bodies on CNN.

"Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on Earth should that mean it's not real?"

If not bush then Michael Bloomberg. ;)

But you're right, Bush did what he had to in office.

What did he do, that someone else wouldn't?

We were the ones screaming to kick some iraqi ass after 9/11. I mean in essence, we're to blame.
