A continuation of "Military, is it worth it?"
Robert is the other boy that graduated last year and went to the Marines. I hear about his expiriences at The Marines Training Camp in Paris Island from Kristen. I guess he hasn't been doing so well there. In one of David's letters to Rebecca he told her in almost the exact words were "P.S. Robert is a little bitch, and should go home." In one of Davids later letters he told Rebecca of a story about a few of their follow recruits were caught stealing Peanut butter packets from the mess hall, thus getting all of the recruits punished. Kristen shared with me a letter the following monday stating that Robert was one of the boys that were stealing the peanut butter packets. David didn't even know it was Robert, graduating class 2007, that got all of the boys on that island in trouble.
Neither of them ever write to the girls about how they get disaplined for their mistakes, i wonder why?

Thats my biggest fear too, i feel like its going to change the boys, and they aren't going to come back and be the same people.
hmmm, I'm guessing they were stealing peanut butter packets because they were hungry. ha ha ha.
