Trutalk, Politics, and The soapbox On Top of The Licorice Stripper Poll: A experiment in blogination.

Helooooooooooo Bloogies! I realize, of course, I am only talking to a demographic of zero (With a exponential rate of zero), at the moment, for this is only my second blog, but like all things it will take time. We can't all be as popular as Trutalk, can we?

He brings the heat of his political fire, to you, doesn't he? Well, when i saw his name up there, on Uprogressive's homepage, i wondered why. "Twenty-two weeks ago , TruTalk (formerly sportominc) joined the Progressive U community. TruTalk's first blog was a hit! It received almost 500 reads, and sparked a very heated discussion."  I read and I clicked on it, curious as i am. And the post is a political opinion. A strong, most likely unpopular one; the opinion, not the post. And just then, when reading his post, I wondered: "why is this so successful?"

 The Current progressiveU bible.

I mean, surely people reading these blogs aren't interested in just politics, right? How could that be? We do not live in a world of just politicians. In fact, we live in a era of technology that allows us to acquire information and an opinion on just about everything; on and off this planet. So, why are the bloggers of Uprogressive all somehow attracted to TruTalk's political blog? Today for my first official blog subject, today to you my blogonians, today with a belly full of rice and mind full of nonsensical sense, i ask you this: What is the meaning of life?

"No, seriously now: What in a blog turns us on?

In all senses, a blog is anything from an opinion to a life story. People can share heartbreak, as they often do. People can share their stories. People can even share their gum, well they can't actually, or at least not over the Internet, not yet. All this variety of choice would lead you to believe that there would be a variety of successful blogs. Yet, I, as a new blogger, on Uprogressive see only the success of politics?

Why?

The excitement? Maybe, that some part of our culture thinks that a political opinion is a taboo. A thing supposed to be kept underwraps, close to our political hearts. Perhaps we love to disagree. After all don't we love to take our own side? I haven't decided who i'm supporting for this election, but i'm sure if i said Hillary right now, i'd get a comment saying something along the lines of: " You shouldn't vote for that donkey stripper, she's not as good as....". And so on, the beautiful thing about opinion is it gives room to each and every one of us. And if you're an American teenager at the moment, you're bound to have a political opinion on officially one of the worst presidencies in American History, our great  American: George W. Only beat by "not crooks" and "not Teddy Roosevelt" in awfulness. So, in conclusion i would like to hear from you, blogonians. What makes politics so hot? What makes any blog good to begin with? Should i shave? What's so great about TruTalk anyhow?

Saluting you to a pasta well done,

promising you answers to my first post puzzle next post,

I liked your bloggy! I have been wondering the same thing. What is so great about Trutalk?? I haven't even ventured to see what he is all about.

You are right, people like to disagree. If you post some things like I posted boy you get a rash of comments. Some kinda mean and some who agree and then some who are so full of themselves that they write paragraph after paragraph telling you how you are wrong for what you believe.

Keep your chin up!
Have a good night. Can't wait to see what you write next Oh please Oh please Oh please...
