Indiana University Basketball Program

Indiana University has taken a toll on the way that Indiana style basketball is played everywhere. Now that Kelvin Sampson is gone the question is not how far up is Indiana going up from here the question is where is Indiana going to go? Indiana players did not want the assistant coach to be placed where he is, however; he has been put as the head coach. Do you feel that it was the right move or should they have gotten a differnt head coach as I feel they should have done? I am a huge IU bball fan, and feel the program was doing fine. Sampson should have stayed in until the next season when they should have let go of him-after the tourney. They should have given the players what they wanted more than what they felt all of the fans wanted. I did not want to see Kelvin Sampson leave IU. I felt he had a lot that he could offer the program...yes he mad a bad decision...dont we all. Give him a proper punishment not a money offer let go of him and now you are off the hook deal. He will end up going somewhere else and coaching them to a big win mark my words...he will win a championship somewhere else. He incorporates many good values within his players....and has great morals himself. He installs teamwork within whatever he is working on. Trust me this man knows what he is doing and will prove it to the NCAA and to everyone who gave up on him!
