Should there be such a thing like an amber alert but for adults. I think there should be because the other night there was a woamn missing from her home. She had Alzheimers and she was just out walking and nobody knew where she went. She went missing at 7:00pm one evening and people didn't even know she was missing until it was 9:45pm. People didn't learn about her disapperance on the news, no. People found out someone was missing because 9-1-1 chose a select few to call around that area.
Maybe if more people would have had know at 7:00pm through an Amber Alert maybe she would have been found quicker. Helicopters, police cars, people with flashlights and firetrucks were roaming the streets trying the fine this 74 year old woman at 10:00 at night, but no one had any idea what they were searching for. Why didn't the news cover this? Why didn't an Amber Alert interrupt our program and tell us what happened?
Why don't we have an Adult Amber Alert? Wouldn't that only be BENEFICIAL to have one. It wouldn't do any harm?..
