Why do people have to act so mean to one another? We are only here for so long, so why should we make other people's lives miserable. It's sad to see how badly a person can treat someone else. Being mean to someone is not "cool," no matter how you defend it. Besides, is it really worth it? It makes me mad at people in general to see somone get made fun just because of who they are. Embrace the differences; don't suppress them. It is pointless, and dare I say, "inhumane," for someone to get put down for something that pretty much out of their control. If your "friends," get mad at you for being nice to someone or talking to someone who isn't as cool, then realize that they aren't good people. Whatever happened to a littel thing called the golden rule? "Treat everyone like you would want to be treated..." A nice word or a good deed goes a long way in the eyes of someone who has never seen it before. We are all stuck here together, no one is more equal then the other, we need to change what we have started, and we can only change if we want to. Our parents and our society make out children who they are, and the only way we can change is to fix where the problem started. We have done so much to this planet, and we have our own minds with our own thoughts...but we let them be taken away by those who had none of their own in the first place. Think for yourself, who cares what other people think, for what do they matter?

You just have to stick to what you know (which most people don't do).
To be human is to be evil.
Being evil at least once teaches a lesson. So let them be evil, because one way or another they will learn.
When I was starting grade nine, I had a choice between being friends with a group that made fun of every one, or being in the group that evey one made fun of. I realized that year that it was better to be teased than to be the person doing all the teasing. I knew that they would hound me for regecting them, and I ended up talking my way out of a few physical fights. I choose the right way and defended alot of "different" people who deserved respect. No one rewarded or thanked me, but that wasn't my objective.
